Roost Residential acquired “Commodore Apartments” located 13 Brannon Street, McDonough, GA, in October 2023.

Built in 1970, this asset is situated within walking distance of the charming downtown and in the rapidly expanding southeast suburban Atlanta proximate to the I-75 industrial corridor. Consisting of (32) units of 2 bedroom / 1 bath floor plans within (4) two-story buildings, the property includes nearly an acre of adjacent land. Capital expenditures included renovating the units’ interiors, infrastructure, common areas, and enhancing the exterior grounds. We rebranded the property to “The Guild” in early 2024.

The Guild pays homage to the rich history that guilds have played a pivotal role in preserving and passing down traditional skills and craftsmanship through generations, much like the people of McDonough’s past. It encapsulates the essence of community, craftsmanship, heritage, innovation, and inclusivity while conveying a sense of belonging, mutual respect, and shared aspirations. Our goal in naming it “The Guild” was to make the property a meaningful and resonant choice for a residential community in the McDonough area that values collaboration, excellence, and connection.
